
WHO I AM
Allison is an accomplished digital strategy, operations, and product development professional with extensive experience at sports and technology companies, including Major League Baseball and ESPN. She is adept at initiating processes and procedures for new and existing digital media properties, and Allison is an expert in project management, product management, and business operations.
Volunteer work also is one of Allison’s passions. She has spent more than 25 years devoting time to American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State in her home state of Tennessee. After serving as a counselor and lead counselor for many years, Allison now serves as ALA Volunteer Girls State’s technical lead.
Allison currently is a Senior Director at Major League Baseball. Allison's group supports marketing and strategic initiatives within the baseball industry.
PAST & PRESENT
Allison served as key content and operations leader at MLB.com for more than seven years. She supervised content production at sites that attracted 2.61 billion visitors yearly. Allison also managed 50 employees who populated contextual and content-driven news, marketing, sponsorship and commerce areas.
Allison established content processes, procedures and best practices for new site at ESPN. espnW.com surpassed 1.1 million monthly unique users and 3.2 million monthly page views within 10 months of launch.
Each year, more than 800 participants and alternates are registered through the custom-made online registration system that Allison created. She established and maintains web-based administrative tools for entering payment information and achievements of participants, with searching, sorting and reporting capabilities.
